ANNUAL SPORTS DAY EVENT
Annual Sports Day was held on Friday 30th July, 2021.
Children were well rehearsed on what they had to do, the weather was cool, and mid-way, turned buttery warm.
At the blow of the whistle, their sturdy legs carried them swiftly on the grounds of Annadil Burhani, their competitive streak evident in how they rushed to complete a task before reaching the finishing line.
Other pupils cheered on exuberantly. Each teacher was alloted a task.
Primary teachers, Madam Hyness and Sir Yusuf extended their help in co-ordinating the event and we are grateful for their support. All Nursery Teachers are to be commended for their teamwork and support.
Mr Sammy awarded the first round of certificates as the triumphant winners took their position on 1st, 2nd and 3rd block respectively.
Photography session was done for keepsake simultaneously.
We are grateful that Burhani School provides physical education for participation in sports helps to build self-esteem and confidence, it motivates children to excel academically, helps in building important social skills and most importantly develop bone and muscle strength.
